Iranian ‘Wife’s Club’ hits domestic home entertainment market

Iranian comedy ‘Wife’s Club’ directed and produced by Mehdi Sabbaghzadeh has hit the domestic home entertainment market.

The movie tells the story of three wealthy henpeck men who plan to scape from their wives.

Joining an underground singer, they flee to the Kish Island of in Persian Gulf, south of Iran.

They plan to conjure up their own kidnap to trick their wives, but the way to the freedom (!) passes complicated hardships.

The cast of the movie includes Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Mitra Hajjar, Shaqayeq Farahani, Bijan Banafshehkhah, Samira Hosseinpour, Ali Ansarian, Mohammad-Reza Hedayati, and Gohar Kheirandish.
